This is a teaching Head of Campus role. The suitable applicant must be able to demonstrate capability to meet the accountabilities of a quality teacher and has demonstrated leadership capability to lead a Campus.
Job Summary: This opportunity exists for an experienced primary educator with leadership skills to take on the role of Head of Campus at Dauan Island Campus, Tagai State College. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career educating students in a unique environment.
About the Location: Dauan Island Campus is one of the 16 Primary campuses that make up Tagai State College. These campuses are spread across 48,000 square kilometres of ocean in the Torres Strait. The College also has a Secondary campus and partners with the TAFE campus located on Thursday Island.
The current enrolment at Tagai State College - Dauan Campus is approximately 36 students ranging in year levels from Kindergarten to Year 6. The campus has 2 teachers, teacher aides, local staff and a teaching Head of Campus. For most students, English is an additional language.
This role is supervised by a member of the Executive leadership team.
