Head of Campus (Level 3) - Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy - Hopevale Campus Education (Organisation site )

The Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy (CYAAA) is a partnership between the Department of Education and Good to Great Schools. Our vision is to deliver "best of both worlds" educational opportunities to our students, supporting their bicultural identity while preparingthem for future success. CYAAA has 2 campuses - Coen Campus and Hopevale Campus.
The Head of Campus Hopevale Campus will be located in Hopevale which is an indigenous community situated approximately 370km north of Cairns and just under 50km north-west of Cooktown in the Indigenous community of Hopevale. This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, from 08 July 2024 until 06 December 2024, unless otherwise determined.
Departmental accommodation may be available at subsidised rental, subject toaccommodation policy. Remote incentives apply.

About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance.
