About the role Reporting directly to the CIO, our new Head of Business Systems & Engagement will lead the support and management of business-critical applications, ensuring operational stability and fostering strong IT-business relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning IT solutions with organisational goals, overseeing application support teams, and managing vendor contracts.
You'll also be engaging with senior executives and business leaders to craft technology solutions that enhance agility, innovation, and efficiency.
The Head of Business Systems & Engagement will also steer digital transformation initiatives and ensure technology investments align with business goals.
About you Being comfortable in fast-paced environments, you'll be a natural leader who can inspire, motivate, and build trust with their team.
Possessing the ability to foster collaboration, empower employees, and drive the vision forward.
Our ideal candidate will also possess the following: Must have 10+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles with a focus on application support and or development competencies.Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and managing high-performing teams.Effectively led the performance of people through strengthening capability and engagement.Proven experience leading and contributing to organisational reforms, such as the assessment of quality and effectiveness for change initiatives and organisational improvements.Demonstrated experience providing high quality, authoritative strategic and operational advice to executive leadership.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, highly desirable.Demonstrated experience within Government sector, highly desirable.Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with the successful candidate's aligned experience and skillset to this position.
