Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy, driving increased revenue growth, and enhancing customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive increased revenue growth.
Lead and strengthen the Business Development unit through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with other units to formulate and promote value proposition for various offerings.
Model pricing and negotiate/review new contracts, acting as a liaison to resolve sales process issues.
Identify process improvement opportunities within the Business Development unit for increased sales and client retention.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven success in B2B sales with a track record of using solutions-focused sales to build effective prospect pipelines.
Experience in developing and executing B2B sales strategy across multiple products, platforms, and services.
Demonstrated experience in managing staff, monitoring performance and workflow, providing guidance and support.
Strong technical understanding with an ability to translate technical requirements into easily understood business concepts.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment as well as cross-functionally.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key external and internal decision makers.
