Key Responsibilities BESS Project Delivery Spearhead the integration and delivery of utility-scale BESS projects in the National Electricity Market (NEM) Ensure successful execution of projects, including integration with SMA inverters and compatibility with local networks Oversee commissioning requirements for large-scale battery systems Technical Leadership Provide expert guidance on battery system integration, including batteries, inverters, and system controls Develop strategies for integrating batteries with other OEM products Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the integration and commissioning stages Team Development Build and lead a specialized team focused on battery system integration Mentor junior team members and provide technical training to internal teams Business Growth Collaborate with OEMs like Tesla, Sungrow, and Power Electronics Identify new business opportunities in BESS and ESS projects Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy market Qualifications and Experience Essential: Proven experience in battery system integration and commissioning, preferably with major integrators Strong track record in delivering large-scale BESS or ESS projects In-depth understanding of technical requirements for utility-scale battery storage projects Excellent leadership and communication skills Preferred: Background in OEM companies specializing in energy storage or power solutions Experience handling 100+ MW battery projects in Australia or globally What they Offer Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications Opportunity to lead innovative projects in the renewable energy sector Chance to play a critical role in advancing the global energy transition If you're passionate about renewable energy and have the expertise to drive large-scale BESS projects, we want to hear from you.
