The role is responsible for the management of our B2B2C distribution partnerships across Roadside, Home, Easy Living and Appliance Protection. This role focuses on consistently meeting and exceeding budgeted sales targets, client retention, new client referrals, profit improvement, client cross-sell and up-sell and growth initiatives above organic growth for all clients, across all distribution markets. As the Head of Assistance, Sales & Distribution you are a commercially driven leader overseeing a team of Account Managers and Sales Analysts. You are responsible for the development of a productive and sales driven team environment while fostering commitment to the Allianz People Attributes. Part of this role will include enhancing staff engagement and retention while empowering and developing people to deliver exceptional partner experiences every day while meeting revenue and profit targets. This is a key leadership position who is responsible for leading a strong sales function, ensuring reporting, discipline and focus is maintained in all sales areas to ensure the sales pipeline is maximised. As one of the leading providers of Assistance services in market, your role is to be an extension of the brand we represent and drive sustainable and compliant sales practices.Key responsibilities include:Financial ResponsibilitiesManagement, allocation and monitoring of all sales budgets per sales manager and ownership by managerExpense budget management and settingInvoicing and payment of expensesPrice rise management per clientSales vs Budget managementSales and profit rectification plans vs budgetSales YTD forecasting and future analysis against budgetProfit targets and management of teams tasks to improve profit by clientOptimisation and conversion increase per partnerEnsures new business opportunities are recorded in SalesForce and following pipelineBusiness ResultsAnalyses mistakes and conducts research to identify root causes of complex problems and implements appropriate solutionsDemonstrates courage in decision making, tackling tough issuesSeeks out opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the business and makes difficult decisions when people, businesses or initiatives are underperformingEnhances the business for significantly improved resultsLeadership and SupervisionLeads team to exceed Sales targetsHolds team accountable for meeting goals within defined limitsHas a clear view of how the different capabilities of team members work together and leverages them to contribute to overall team developmentLeads a high performing team and culture that celebrates successEnsure staff learning and development requirements are met in line with operational and human resource strategySales and Client ManagementDevelop a sustainable sales and growth strategy to meet revenue, profit and strategic business requirementsEngage in leading edge partnerships to grow Allianz Partners profitable market share through the strategic development of the Assistance product and service offeringMaximise revenue and operating profit for each clientOversee the development and implementation of detailed client planning processesReportingEnsure agreed deadlines are adhered to at all times for reporting for partners and internal stakeholdersOversee the preparation of product presentations, proposals and reports in line with Allianz Partners branding guidelinesEntrepreneurial OrientationKnows market fundamentals and integrates into regular work activityAware of key profit and cost drivers for Assistance line of business and how they contribute to profitable growth.Works harminmously with key stakeholders in the development and implementation of strategies and campaigns and provide sales advice with the co-ordination of any associated procedures in relation tonew products, services or campaignsRisk and ComplianceAdhere to the risk management and compliance obligations relevant to each position and comply with policies, processes and training requirements.Report and escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures to managementComplete required risk management reviews and questionnaires within approved timeframesIdentify, document and communicate risk and compliance exposures including fraud and corruption in operational areas or departmentsIntegrate compliance obligations, risk assessment and the risk management process into business practicesWhat you'd bring to this role :Tertiary Qualifications in business, commerce or related disciplines preferredProven success leading large teamsPrevious experience successfully implementing process and people changesEnsuring that the expected levels of service are always delivered to clients and their customers and prospects at all timesExperience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and broad organisational influencing skills in complex organisational structures and multi product lines.Proven success meeting significant sales revenue targets.Demonstrated evidence of the development and implementation of sales and distribution plansDisplays solid attention to detail, and has the ability to analyse information to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions.What we offer:Our employees play an integral part in our success as a business.
