The Opportunity As the Head of Asset Management, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and be critical in extracting the best value for the investors.
Key responsibilities include: Lead and further develop the organisations asset management function, including taking responsibility for overall strategy and process to the benefit of their clients Manage and mentor the existing asset management team, including overseeing the growth of the team as the business grows Co-ordinate asset management responsibilities at the fund and individual asset level, including liaising with investment committees Manage the overall performance of the assets, enhancement of cash flow and work in conjunction with the broader investment team to drive the annual valuation process Develop and implement asset repositioning and value add initiatives that maximise value Work closely with Marketing and Property Management teams to maximise tenant mix, devise and implement effective marketing plans and control related expenses to maximise net operating income of buildings Management of leasing and project refurbishments Accountability to the ESG function including reporting Management of relevant reporting for the function Budgeting preparation and financial and compliance management The Candidate The successful candidate will possess the following: Tertiary qualifications in commerce, property or a related field A background in a similar role in asset management, commercial, property management, funds management or similar Knowledge of ESG and reporting requirements Ability to lead and mentor a small team Ability to interface and manage operator and investor relationships Strong commercial and business acumen Experience in budgeting and forecasting Strong communication and stakeholder management skills To apply for this position, please click on the link below or for a confidential discussion, contact Mikahla Smith at / 0448 840 037.
