We are seeking a Head of Architecture and Cybersecurity based in Canberra.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Privacy/Data/Cyber/information security frameworks and practices to meet evolving threats.Ensure the data, information, knowledge and technology landscape is secure, available and optimised to meet customer and internal business requirements.In consultation with the CIO, develop and implement 5-year strategies and supporting annual program plans.Develop and deliver technology plans for GRDC IT's portfolio of capabilities.Lead service and solution design of new IT offerings and work closely with the product teams in development.Provide advice and deliver support to Business Groups on any projects that are ICT dependent, to ensure project delivery is seamless and utilizing the most appropriate ICT platforms available to GRDC.Candidate Profile:8+ years' experience in similar IT leadership roles combined with relevant tertiary education.Strong commercial acumen and proven experience in leading a technology strategy that delivers ROI.Understanding and experience with key architecture, cloud, digital, integration and modern data principles.Experience managing and growing small/medium size technical teams.Experience in working with customers and partner requirements, building strong strategic partnerships.Strong business acumen and ability to manage reporting and financial management.Solution-driven mindset with the ability to identify and offer technology solutions to business problems.Demonstrated experience working with technical development and operational teams.Demonstrated experience in the application of risk management principles.Strong analytical skills and the capacity to leverage off external expertise and think strategically, including the ability to provide sound project and issue advice.Mandatory Requirements:Must be prepared to travel as and when required.Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks.Must have a valid Australian Driver's Licence as deemed necessary.Please include a CV and cover letter in your application.GRDC is committed to supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce and welcomes and encourages applications from People with Disability (PwD), First Nations peoples, LGBTIQA+ people, people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, mature age and young workers.
