Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Accounting to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, driving performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with our values.
Key Responsibilities:

Help develop budgetary and accounting policies for effective financial management.
Create detailed financial statements for various stakeholders, including management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
Conduct financial investigations and audits, reporting on areas such as business transactions, fraud, and taxation.
Analyze operating costs and revenue to identify ways to improve efficiency.
Ensure the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with legal requirements.
Offer expert advice on financial and tax matters to support business decisions.
Manage fund allocations to optimize financial performance.
Implement and maintain accounting systems, including advising on software selection.
Maintain internal controls to protect company assets and prevent fraud.
Assess cash flow and financial risks associated with investment projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
