Head Foreperson

Price Kent Racing is seeking an experienced horse person to join our team full time in the position of Head Foreperson.
The successful applicant must have a passion for the thoroughbred industry, have the ability to work in a team environment and lead by example. We are looking for someone who can manage horse and staff equally to create a fantastic culture within the stable.
Day to Day Responsibilities: Day to day running of 80 horse barn, including staff management & rostering Ordering of suppliers and liaising with suppliers Assist vets/farriers daily Communicating with trainers/foreman/owners Raceday work available Requirements: Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing Proven team leader or management experience Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses Previous experience in a similar role is essential Truck license or willing to obtain is advantageous This is a great opportunity to take the next step in the industry. The job is 40 hours a week with a salary of $80,000 per annum + Raceday and Overtime, Sunday entitlements.
