Brand StoryThis Resort Wear Brand has a focus on creating an everlasting wardrobe through creating purposeful designs which are made to last.Role OverviewUMENCO is seeking a Head Designer for a premium, resort wear brand with a strong Australian and International following.The Head Designer will be required to deliver innovative fashion-forward collections across menswear and womenswear that champion the evolution and development of cult core styles, as well as key seasonal highlight pieces.The Head Designer will work across multidisciplinary design and have experience in a broad range of RTW Apparel to establish the brand's reputation as a leading voice in global fashion. They will have a solid foundation of core brand fabrications and iconic trims and prints as well as constantly sourcing and developing new techniques and materials at the forefront of trends and technological advances in the fashion industry.The successful talent will work to ensure cohesion between the brand's seasonal creative vision and their design output, presenting unified collections that reflect the sensibilities of the brand's DNA. The Head Designer will lead the entire design process from concept development to final product delivery as well as collaborating with teams across the business to ensure the collections are commercially successful.This role is a unique opportunity to join the team of a brand whose DNA is inspired by a deeply felt presence in Australia in conjunction with a need for international exploration of dreamy holiday destinations and far-flung travel adventures.
