Head Chefs or Executive Chefs Expressions of interest O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat is looking for an experienced and talented Executive Chef or Head Chef to work across multiple F&B outlets. The successful applicant will be hands on, leading a team of skilled and dedicated chefs.
The position is alternatively live-on 4 nights a week or commute to the Retreat.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Executive Chef will be responsible for:
Menu/Dish design with execution for multiple venues using local produce and a focus on our target clientele. Assess our takeaway/delivery menu for quality and value (which can number 60pax in an evening) and implement improvements accordingly. Develop Maintain wage cost in kitchen areas, including chefs and kitchen staff. Serve up to 300 covers per night in multiple venues where we are looking to upgrade the product and possibly the outlets. Deliver on efficiency, budgets and product delivery standards. Assist with the planning for refurbishment and redevelopment of the kitchens. Effectively manage a diverse team from all around the globe. Strong food safety background will be highly regarded. The salary and benefits package will be negotiable upon your past experience and potential to add value to the business. Lucrative bonus structure in place once probation period of 6 months is completed.
