Cater Care Services seeks to appoint a culinary professional with leadership experience to the role of Head Chef at our mining village operation in Woleebee Creek QLD.
This is a role based on a 14/7 roster, fly in and fly out from Brisbane.
Food preparation and presentation (breakfast, crib, dinner and functions)Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests)Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktakingMaintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensilsAdherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practicesFast, effective service provided with a smileAssisting the broader team as required Skills and Experiences: All about you: Certificate III Commercial CookeryFood Safety CertificationMin 3 years post-qualification experience in executing all aspects of kitchen operations and food preparation and service, preferably in a remote environmentA manual drivers' license (preferred) and forklift license (desirable)Ability and willingness to work well alone, and as part of a teamA commitment to genuine, friendly & professional customer serviceA motivated, enthusiastic and positive 'can-do' attitudeResourcefulness, resilience and creative thinkingAbility to work in a fast-paced, challenging & time-sensitive environmentPride in personal appearance & hygiene ** Successful Candidates will be contacted ** #J-18808-Ljbffr
