Australian in our approach and unbound by dining traditions, creating venues and experiences to be shared with others.About the Opportunity:Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, assist with menu development and management of cost for your area. You will lead, motivate and supervise the team while ensuring quality and consistency. You must be energetic and enthusiastic with a real passion for your craft.The Ideal Candidate:Demonstrated experience as either a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a premium restaurantTrack record of leading teams that deliver outcomesAbility to manage staff performance, including unsatisfactory performanceDisplay exemplary leadership and passion for global cuisine trendsUnderstanding of financial budgets, food and labour costsExperience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentationRostering and ordering experienceMonitor and supervise OH&S standards and procedureAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsOutstanding time managementCalm and composed demeanourQualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentWorking with Lucas Restaurants:We exist to see our team succeed.
