Swings & Roundabouts, in the heart of Margaret River, WA, is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef or a Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career to lead our dynamic culinary team. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu development to staff supervision. This is a full-time role based in our stunning Margaret River location.
What you'll be doing Developing and implementing innovative seasonal menus that showcase the best of the region's produce Managing and mentoring a team of passionate chefs and kitchen staff Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency Maintaining tight control over kitchen operations, inventory and budgets Collaborating with the management team to drive the overall vision and strategy of the restaurant Fostering a positive and productive work culture in the kitchen What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent budgeting and inventory control capabilities A creative flair and passion for using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients A commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills What we offer At Swings & Roundabouts, we're dedicated to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
