Head Chef

HEAD CHEF The Warrnambool RSL is currently seeking applications for the position of an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The role is on a Full-time basis on a rotational roster covering day, night and weekend shifts.
We require an exceptional person to join our team who is passionate about food and creating a exceptional customer experience through their food. You will work closely with our current team of chefs and the Operations Manager, to create a successful Bistro, Function and Seniors menu.
Role and responsibilities :
Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard. Stock control and food cost skills, including liaising with suppliers to maintain cost control within a budget. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Foster a positive, collaborative and professional work culture within the kitchen.
