Head Chef

Head Chef required for Town and Country and Crudo Warehouse in Kew, (formerly Cru Cafe and Wine Bar).Town and Country seeks a talented and experienced Head Chef to enable the business to reach its full untapped potential. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring our kitchen team and driving the culinary vision. It currently operates as a daytime cafe. However, growth opportunities exist for operation as a Wine Bar/Restaurant at night, Catering, Functions, and Events. It is a unique business, with the addition of the 2nd venue Crudo Warehouse, with its own kitchen and bar for events.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong experience in similar senior roles, good knowledge of current food trends and seasonality, and the ability to manage staff and lead teams that deliver memorable dishes. You will be driven and passionate about cooking.You will oversee and manage daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning and development, food preparation, inventory, stock and quality control, maintaining and upholding food safety and hygiene regulations, and having excellent communication and organizational skills.
