Commence mid-January 2025.
Parking on site.Weekends off and Christmas/New Year off, every year!Street parking available and easily accessible via public transport.Roster: Monday to Friday 11am - 7.30pmWhat This Role Involves:Overall kitchen management - leading & managing chefs, kitchen hands & catering assistants.Menu planning for students' daily meals, functions, conferences & school/sporting camps.Cooking a variety of nutritious home-style & gourmet meals.Conducting stock takes, ordering stock & monitoring food costs.Monitoring & promoting kitchen hygiene and Food Safety Practices.Skills and Experiences:The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (mandatory).Effective team leadership & management skills.Experience in bulk cooking, functions/conferences and/or high-end catering.Friendly & professional customer service skills with a positive attitude.Why Work For Us:Cater Care is a catering and facilities services provider which is 100% Australian owned and operated, a fact that positively sets us apart from many of our competitors.
