Work a 2 week on 1 week off roster, earning a salary of $100,000 Enjoy free on site Gym access FIFO from Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane The Position: Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards Managing catering team performance and employee development The Person: Cert III in Commercial Cookery Minimum Experience within bulk catering environments Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations Experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines The Benefits: You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
