Meal times engage all five senses and provide an important social opportunity for our residents.Reporting to our Resident Services Manager, our new Head Chef will be an integral part of our Food Service transformation and we are looking for someone who is passionate about good wholesome food and enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen.Our perfect Head Chef would possess:Ability to work with our talented team of Cooks & Food Services Assistants with family-friendly hours predominantly Monday to FridayAbility to think outside of the box and help develop and deliver a new and exciting Dining Experience for residentsAbility to build a great rapport with the seniors of our communityFood Safety Supervisor CertificateHospitality Management experience and the ability to lead and inspire a team with the Resident Services ManagerExperience in Aged Care industry (desired but not essential)Other informationJoin a Leading Aged Care Not-For-Profit OrganisationCompetitive hourly rateFamily friendly hours, no late nights and mostly Monday-Friday hoursGenerous Salary packaging - up to $30,000 to increase take home pay11.5% SuperannuationAll staff employed by Benevolent Living are required to undergo pre-employment screening that includes a current Police Record check.If you meet the criteria and have the desire to be part of the Benevolent Living community, please hit the APPLY button.
