As the Head Chef for The Vikings Group, you will be responsible for leading a passionate team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
This full-time position is based in our Queanbeyan, NSW location and offers the opportunity to create and refine menus that showcase the finest local and seasonal ingredients.

What you'll be doing
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management Develop and implement creative and innovative recipes that showcase your culinary expertise Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Manage and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations Monitor and control kitchen budgets and inventory What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a similar hospitality environment Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food Exceptional culinary skills and a keen understanding of food trends and flavour profiles Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management What we offer
