Head Chef

Head Chef A busy & fast-paced restaurant located in Epping Club is looking for a full-time Head Chef to join our dedicated and professional team of hospitality staff.
As a Head Chef, you will be assisting other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure the very highest level is achieved in the planning of menus and culinary dishes, dish preparation and presentation, cooking of meals, executing a high-quality product, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain exciting, on-trend menus within budget.Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food items on the menu, ensuring the highest possible quality.Order supplies and report to the head of the establishment.Order food from designated suppliers.Manage stock of food.Ensure the serving of quality culinary dishes on schedule.Ensure that no problems arise during serving.Approve all foods before they leave the kitchen.Ensure that the food servicing facility meets all necessary standards and regulations.Ensure proper equipment maintenance and operations.Organize duty roster for kitchen staff.Recruit and train kitchen staff.The successful candidate will have: More than 3 years working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a busy kitchen environment.A passion for food and culinary creativity.Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective communication with kitchen team members and management.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.A positive attitude and strong work ethic.If you are a dedicated and passionate Head Chef looking to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced bistro and restaurant, we want to hear from you!
