Head Chef

On behalf of our client, Boulder Dash Entertainment Group Pty Ltd, we are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled head chef to join their team on a full-time basis.Job BriefYou will be leading the kitchen with the guidance of the management team of the restaurant. You will supervise and guide other chefs, sous chefs, and cooks, and enforce any requirements and guidelines according to relevant standards. You will be a creative professional who is willing to participate in creating seasonal menus and food.Job Duties/Responsibilities Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to foodMaintaining hygiene and the highest food quality standards according to the regulationsResponsible for all kitchen equipment, ensuring they are well maintained and reporting any malfunctioningSupervising junior chefsResponsible for menu planningEstimating the daily production and ensuring sufficient inventory in stockGiving guidance on cooking proceduresLead the kitchenEnsuring effective communication between chefs, management team, and waiting staff, and maintaining a safe and friendly working environmentAny other reasonable duties as assigned by managementQualification, Skills & ExperienceMinimum two years experience in a similar roleCertificate IV Commercial Cookery preferredExcellent interpersonal skillsThe desire for personal growth and professional developmentRemuneration: Base salary $73,150 - $85,000 per annum + superLocation: Boulder WA 6432Please note: We would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants for their interest.
