We provide catering and last-mile morning and lunch meals from 6am 7days a week.We're currently seeking a Head/Sous Chef to join our team with the following responsibilities:- planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies- monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation- discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen staff- demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures- preparing and cooking food- explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations- may select and train staff- may freeze and preserve foods- ability to use and manage last-mile delivery apps such as Uber Eats.- ability to use and manage catering apps such as Ordermentum and Food Storm- ability to work independently and profitably given high demand of products.A requirement for the role is:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
