Head Chef – Beach Club Restaurant We are now seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings to new heights.
The Beach Club Restaurant is an iconic dining destination on Hamilton Island, offering contemporary Australian cuisine crafted from the finest seasonal and locally-sourced produce.
With a spectacular beachfront location overlooking the Beach Club pool and Catseye Beach, our restaurant provides an unparalleled dining experience, complemented by a world-class wine list and a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere.
What You'll Do: Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver innovative, high-quality dishes with a focus on fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients.
Oversee the creation and execution of à la carte and tasting menus, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and cost control, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Collaborate with management to maintain and enhance our premium dining experience, ensuring the Beach Club Restaurant remains a top destination for guests.
Curate special menus and seasonal offerings that align with the restaurant's commitment to contemporary Australian cuisine.
Work closely with our sommelier to pair dishes with selections from our premium wine list, showcasing the best of Australian wines and champagne.
What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment.
A passion for contemporary Australian cuisine and a strong understanding of seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
A commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
