Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas and guest accommodation.The George Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Head Chef to join their team.Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and qualityManage daily production planningDetermining food inventory needs, stocking and orderingCosting and control kitchen operationsControl and direct the food preparation processManaging and working closely with other Chefs of all levelsEnsuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelinesTo be considered for the position you must possess the following:At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar roleCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar relevant qualificationExcellent cooking skills and overall technical expertiseExcellent leadership skillsEffective communication skillsIf you meet the above criteria, please apply now.
