Duties: Prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with menus ensuring a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards Oversee the appropriate receiving and storage of food Maintain HACCP procedures and practices Maintain kitchen equipment and plant in good condition Provide direction and support to all catering employees Plan and implement daily food preparation list for effective production Analysis of all aspects of the operation to monitor and audit performance to ensure continuous improvements are achieved Ensure that adequate employees are rostered and report to the Facility Manager/ Scheduler any shortfalls Assist in providing regular feedback to all catering employees Comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance Skills and Experience: Experience in the hospitality environment, creating and motivating an innovative team that is able to achieve high standards of Customer Service Must have a high expectation in terms of quality and satisfaction and the ability to share this with the team The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capacity to lift up to 20kg.
