What You'll Be Doing: Take Command of the Kitchen: Lead all aspects of food preparation, from planning menus to overseeing cooking and service, ensuring every dish is a masterpiece.Innovate and Inspire: Develop creative new dishes while perfecting existing favourites, ensuring a diverse and exciting menu for our guests.Quality Assurance: Approve and refine dishes before they leave the kitchen, maintaining top-tier presentation and flavour in every bite.Team Leadership: Train, manage, and support kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.Operational Oversight: Handle repairs, kitchen inventory, and ensure that all equipment is well-maintained.Safety and Standards: Champion safety, sanitation, and health regulations, ensuring compliance at all times and promoting hygienic practices across the team.Collaboration and Communication: Work Closely with Leadership: Communicate regularly with the Hotel Manager and owners to keep operations running smoothly and resolve any issues promptly.Team Coordination: Ensure all kitchen staff log in and out of the Deputy system for shifts and breaks, and that they're fully trained and equipped for success.Skills You'll Bring to the Table: Extensive knowledge of nutrition, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices.A track record of success in managing kitchen teams and driving culinary excellence.Proven ability to foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative environment among colleagues.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Why Join Us?
