Job Opportunity: Head Chef and Sous ChefWe are seeking an experienced Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team at Dugald River Village.
This is a permanent Full-Time opportunity working a 2 weeks on/1 week off roster, either DIDO from local and surrounding areas or FIFO from Brisbane or Townville.
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in high-volume catering environmentAbility to work to client expectations and adapt menus accordinglyStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development in a bulk cooking environmentAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentA proactive and solutions-focused approach to ensure kitchen operations run smoothlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge and application of food safety and hygiene regulationsCertificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)Safe Food Handling Certificate (desired)Our Benefits:
