They work with colleagues to understand local contexts in order to support prospective and current HDR candidates and their Advisors and also Director of Higher Degree by Research (DHDR).Key responsibilities will include:Act as a key connection point for current HDR candidates, providing a contact point for enquiries and proactive support by working with colleagues and engaging support services as requiredProactively support prospective HDR enquiries and the administration of HDR admissions and scholarship nominationsSupport the delivery of orientation and induction activities for HDR candidatesWork with DHDRs to monitor HDR candidate progression and changing needsWork with the DHDR and Team Leader to support and encourage HDR engagement and development opportunities, including local seminars, and other development activities to support research training and enhance the HDR cohort experience and connectednessWork effectively and thoughtfully within the University's governance framework, in collaboration with colleagues, adapt and contribute to solutions which can be implemented to improve the HDR candidate experienceThis full-time, fixed-term position (up to 12 months) is a parental leave replacement based at our beautiful Gatton campus.The role includes one work-from-home day per week and occasional visits to our St Lucia campus in Brisbane.The full-time HEW 5 equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,396 - $86,029 plus super of up to 17%.
