Hd Mechanic - Component Rebuilds

Hampton Mining & Civil is seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics looking for a new challenge and to develop in a role that requires mechanical aptitude and attention to process improvement.
About the role Repairs and Service of Heavy-Duty road trucks and earth-moving Equipment;Caterpillar component rebuilding experience essential; engines, transmissions, torque convertors & wheel ends;Repairs and servicing checks;Recording of work completed;Safe operation, daily pre-start checks;Compliance with legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures;Maintenance of earth moving machines, in particular, CAT and Komatsu;Diagnostics and fault finding;Input to the Maintenance Management system.About you Considerable experience within a mining environment;Australian trade papers or Australian trades recognition in heavy vehicle maintenance;Experience maintaining 777 Dump Trucks, D10 Dozers, 16H Graders and 100T+ Excavators;Experience servicing a wide range of earth moving equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu etc.;Willingness to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol test, including a Commercial Driver Fitness assessment;The ability to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance;Possess rights to work in Australia.About us The Hampton Transport group of companies, incorporating Hampton Mining & Civil, is one of Australia's biggest and most successful privately owned haulage, mining and earthmoving operations.
