Hd Mechanic - Component Rebuilds

Hampton Mining & Civil is seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics looking for a new challenge and to develop in a role that requires mechanical aptitude and attention to process improvement.
About the role Repairs and Service of Heavy-Duty road trucks and earth-moving Equipment; Caterpillar component rebuilding experience essential; engines, transmissions, torque convertors & wheel ends; Repairs and servicing checks; Recording of work completed; Safe operation, daily pre-start checks; Compliance with legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures; Maintenance of earth moving machines, in particular, CAT and Komatsu; Diagnostics and fault finding; Input to the Maintenance Management system.
About you Considerable experience within a mining environment; Australian trade papers or Australian trades recognition in heavy vehicle maintenance; Experience maintaining 777 Dump Trucks, D10 Dozers, 16H Graders and 100T+ Excavators; Experience servicing a wide range of earth moving equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu etc.
; Willingness to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol test, including a Commercial Driver Fitness assessment; The ability to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance; Possess rights to work in Australia.
