What does the role involve? This role will form part of the core HD Fitter crew at Eastern Guruma to ensure effective repair and maintenance of our growing fleet of heavy vehicles and plant equipment. Key Responsibilities include:   Mechanical service and breakdown support on a range of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cat dozers, graders, loaders, and other ancillary equipment. Tasks will be conducted from within the workshop and In-Pit, as required. Use sophisticated diagnostic equipment and techniques to perform component replacements on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and air machine systems.  Report all equipment faults to the maintenance supervisor for scheduling into workshop weekly planning.  Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health & safety policies/procedures. What are we looking for? Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in a field / mining site environment. AAC02 or equivalent Air Con Ticket (Essential) Australian Trade Certificate (Essential) HR Licence (Essential) Ability to work independently and as part of team Computer literate being able to liaise with vendors. Other Requirement  Ability to complete pre-employment medical, DAS & ongoing compliance with fitness for work policy. Police Clearance Checks  What can we offer you? Competitive Market Leading Rate  Full time permanent opportunity. FIFO 2:1 roster. 12-hour days including pay to and from site. All pre-employment checks, PPE and flights provided by Eastern Guruma.
