About the role The Aurenne Group Mining is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced HD Fitter to join the team at Mt Ida.
We are looking for a HD Fitter that likes working in small teams, has the ability to work by themselves and can think outside the box, creating solutions with what is at hand.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and servicing of the mobile fleet, including in the field, workshop repairs and servicing of heavy plant.
This is a fulltime permanent position direct with Aurenne on a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.
Working out of our new workshop with mostly new equipment on our mobile fleet including: Komatsu 785-7 Trucks, 1500 Trucks, PC2000 digger, PC1250-8 diggers and D375-8 Dozers and CAT 745 Water Carts, and a new 872GP John Deer Grader.
Also on site are Rigid Flat Top Trucks, Hino, Isuzu and Mitsubishi and a Franna Mac 25t Crane, 7T Hitachi Excavator, Takeuchi Skid Steer, 50Kva and 125Kva Gensets and other auxiliary equipment.
Your duties will include but not limited to: Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.Diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel fuel injections systems.Testing repaired parts for proper performance.Ensure the timely and effective completion of repairs and maintenance on plant and equipment.Ensure all work practices are conducted in a safe manner in line with relevant legislation and Aurenne policies.Ensure work orders are completed, maintenance history for plant and equipment is recorded, and relevant records and reports are delivered to management.
