About the Role As an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment essential to our operations at open cut mine sites across Western Australia.
What you'll be doing: Work on-site from your own field service vehicle, primarily on open cut mining machines such as haul trucks, loaders, dozers, excavators, and shovels.Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance, requiring advanced technical skills in diagnostics.Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.Collaborate with the broader mining team to coordinate service schedules, aiming to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.Requirements: Australian-recognized Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certificate.Minimum 12 months post-trade experience in the mining industry.Valid Manual Driver's License.Full Working Rights.Extensive experience with the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty mining equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on equipment issues.What we offer: Rates up to $100 p/h.$8,000 bonus upon successful onboarding.OEM training opportunities throughout the year.Flights and accommodation provided for interstate employees.Opportunities to work across multiple mine sites.Comprehensive training and development programs to support career growth.Flexible work arrangements.Generous health and wellness benefits, including access to on-site gym facilities.Apply Now
