About the business Deepcore Drilling is a leader in surface and underground drilling with extensive operations across Australia's East Coast. Due to continued expansion across our business, we currently have new opportunities for a HC Truck Driver/Yard Hand to join our Bendigo Maintenance Hub.
About the role Due to continued growth within our Maintenance Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member operating from our Bendigo Workshop at Epsom where you will provide general support to our maintenance department including timely transport/delivery of tools, ancillary equipment, core samples and rigs to new and existing Deepcore projects.
The role is: Monday to Friday working week with overtime available and the possibility of some weekend work Offering competitive hourly rates plus travel allowance. Full-time permanent position with a growing business. Long interstate trips may be required at times. ASAP start with a business that prides itself on culture and safety. Duties will include but not limited to: Conduct daily checks and complete weekly safety inspection reports of the work area and equipment. Maintaining the maintenance warehouse and yard, work area and equipment in a clean hazard free condition. Delivery and collection of consumables and equipment from various locations in within Australia, including QLD, NSW and Victoria as required to various site locations. Report defects, violations or accidents. Participate and provide input into travel driving plans. Experience & qualifications Demonstrated experience as a Truck Driver and ideally yard hand in previous roles. Hold a valid and unrestricted HC licence is an essential requirement. Demonstrated understanding of Maintenance and experience in a labouring environment is highly desirable. Hold a valid Forklift, CN and Working at Heights certification is essential for success in the role. Ability to hold or willingness to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate plus a National Police Clearance. Benefits Full time role with competitive remuneration.
