This role involves driving heavy vehicles to transport precast concrete products to various construction sites.
You will also be responsible for securing loads, climbing ladders, and performing manual tasks related to the delivery and unloading process.

The company prides itself on its skilled team, cutting-edge technology, and dedication to building a sustainable future.DescriptionTransport Precast Concrete Components: Safely transport precast concrete components from our manufacturing facility to construction sites across Adelaide and occasionally regional South Australia.Load Securing: Perform manual tasks, including securing and chaining down loads on the truck.
This will involve climbing ladders and working from platforms to ensure the safe transportation of materials.Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Checks: Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure that the truck is in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety procedures and vehicle maintenance guidelines.Compliance with Traffic Regulations: Ensure compliance with all road traffic laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate driving records, including delivery schedules and logbooks.Manual Handling: Assist with loading and unloading precast concrete products, including lifting and carrying heavy materials safely and securely.Overtime & Weekend Work: Be available for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts as required by business needs.Customer Service: Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients and construction personnel on site.ProfileHC or MC Truck License: A current and valid HC or MC truck license.Manual Vehicle Experience: Proven experience driving manual vehicles in a heavy-duty setting.Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual tasks, including climbing ladders, securing loads, and lifting heavy materials.Proven Experience: A minimum of 12 months experience as an HC/MC truck driver, preferably within the construction or transport industry.Safety Focus: Strong commitment to following safety procedures and work instructions.
Understanding of work site safety standards, including load restraint and traffic management.Willingness to Work Overtime: Ability and flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as required by business demands.White Card (Desirable): A Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) is desirable but not essential.Forklift License (Desirable): A forklift license is advantageous but not required.Job OfferCompetitive hourly rate of $38 per hour as a Level 6.Shift times from 5:00am - 3:00pm.Ongoing roles with opportunities for career advancement.Plenty of overtime available.Be a part of a reputable and environmentally conscious company.
