Tasks include, not limited to: Attach and de-attach trailers and associated equipment.
Check, monitor and maintain vehicle equipment supplies such as fuel, oil, water, brake fluid and pads, lights and tires to ensure vehicle is always in safe working order.
Loading and unloading supervision at pick-up & delivery sites.
Obey traffic laws and follow regulations and procedures.
Report mechanical problems and ensure corrective action is taken.
Report traffic conditions or delays to operation bases and other drivers via telephone or two-way radio.
Take instruction from maps along with written and verbal directions.
Transport and delivery of goods between different locations.
Verify delivery contents and maintain accurate records such as cargo logs, billing statements and vehicle logs What we need from you; Current HC license Able to work dayshift & nightshift - 12 hour shifts Able to work rotating roster A commitment to safety and Zero Harm policies.
