Working in an agile environment, you will set direction, vision and strategy for the Service Design squad while thinking creatively and strategically to dissect business problems using human-centred design methods.
You will use storytelling skills to bring product ideas to life, and construct quick interactive prototypes with initial, low fidelity visual designs that illustrate your design, presenting an understanding of the intended experience while building capability and culture within your team.
Key Responsibilities Use conceptual thinking to create solutions across multiple channels, bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities Lead a small team of design and research professionals while supporting their growth and development Apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand user needs, and translate this into design opportunities and confidently share your findings Produce personas, map customer journeys, and develop service blueprints for complex products and services using industry design standards and best practices Develop the professional standards and guidelines for the chapter, encouraging collaborative techniques, effective problem solving and improvements in how Design functions within HBF. About You
You are a confident leader who brings your team together from concept to delivery of features and journeys across multiple platforms, using your expertise across design research, strategy and implementation to lead the way.
You'll embrace collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and make informed decisions about how to progress the project forward, with a strong focus on technical feasibility and prioritisation of features of the design that have the greatest member and business impact. Most importantly, you'll define and lead the creation of complex design solutions from user flows and concepts to detailed designs across multiple digital platforms, along with other connected services using data to drive innovation and decision making while working in an agile environment.
