About the role and opportunity HAZARA MEATS WHOLESALER PTY LTD is currently offering multiple roles of full-time Skilled Meat Workers (TRUCK DRIVER/Boners/Slicers) with various opportunities at our Meat Processing Plant located at 85 Wing Street, Wingfield SA. Truck Driver Responsibilities: Picking Whole Body beef Carcass, Whole lamb Carcass, Whole goat Carcass, Whole camel Carcass from suppliers or Slaughterhouse and delivering to Supermarkets and butcher shops. Also includes picking up boxes of meats from different suppliers daily. Application Question: You will need to be physically fit and able to lift 60kg Carcass and 30kg boxes. Are you fit and strong enough to manage this? Boner Responsibilities: Breaking carcasses into primal cuts or meat products according to specifications; Deboning parts of carcasses into primal cuts or meat products according to specifications; Boning of forequarters, loins, hindquarters, etc. for Beef, Lamb, and Whole goat. Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years' work experience in the meat industry; Physically fit, disciplined, agile & a team player within a dynamic environment; Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout all processes; Follow all OH&S procedures and policies; Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene requirements will be an added advantage; A keen attitude to work, reliability & flexibility; Possess working rights in Australia. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work 40 hours per week. Overtime & weekend work may be required depending on production requirements.
Annual base salary up to $65,000 - $75,000 + 11.5% superannuation.
