Hays is excited to partner with Ramada Suites Zen Quarter Darwin to find their new General Manager

Located just 550 meters from the main mall, this award-winning establishment offers guests seamless access to Darwin's vibrant nightlife, waterfront, shops, and dining options.
Known for its exceptional guest experience and quality amenities, Ramada Suites Zen Quarter has been recognized with the Tripadvisor Top Traveller Award (top 10%) for the past 5 years.

The Role: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the operations at Ramada Suites Zen Quarter Darwin.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that the hotel is known for.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management: Oversee Department Managers, manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes, and ensure effective cross-training.
Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize revenue, manage costs, and enhance service quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
Guest Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, handle escalated issues, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Strategic Growth: Drive sales, identify new business opportunities, and maintain high standards across all departments.
Candidate Profile:
General education in service & hospitality, with a focus on middle and upper management levels.
At least 3 years of experience in Hotel Management.
Exceptional written English and copywriting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid Driver License and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (willingness to become Liquor Licensee preferred).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Personable, proactive, and results-driven.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
