Seeking an experienced WA Government Contract Manager to join a team in East Perth, starting ASAP.
Your new company
A State Government department in East Perth is seeking a confident Contract Manager to join the procurement team, starting as soon as possible.
This opportunity is offered on an initial temporary basis for 6 months, working full-time hours and on a competitive hourly rate.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development of contracts and general procurement for a particular team within the department.
Your duties will include:

Managing stakeholder relationships by liaising with contacts on contract obligations, compliance, spend analysis, and contract terms and conditions.
Overseeing procurement and purchasing, ensuring compliance with Government standards.
Undertaking end-to-end procurement and contract management services including planning, tender development, evaluation facilitation, contract formation, and consultations.
Providing specialist advice on complex contract development processes and principles, procurement planning, risk management, and governance.
Other duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you must display:

Previous experience managing complex, high-risk contracts in the WA Government sector.
Demonstrated skills in end-to-end procurement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in negotiations and delivery management.
A confident understanding of WA Government procurement processes.
