This role is based in the Mackay Region with travel requirements across the Bowen Basin.
Your new role
We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the expanding Mackay office. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of projects, from mining sites to local council initiatives, enhancing our growing presence in the region. Key responsibilities include developing and managing project strategies, ensuring high-quality delivery, fostering a safety culture, managing client relationships, overseeing financial performance, leading project teams, and promoting innovation on-site.
What you'll need to succeed Extensive project management experience in the construction industry ideally focused on concrete remediation. A Bachelor of Engineering (essential). Experience with remedial, civil, or infrastructure projects. A strong background in construction and a proven track record with various project types, including mining and council projects. Excellent planning and decision-making skills, especially under pressure. Proficiency in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and self-performance works. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Flexibility to travel across the Mackay region, including the Bowen Basin. Strong familiarity of the Mackay/Bowen Basin region. What you'll get in return
