Your new company Located in Mandurah, our impressive client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their established, growing firm. With a friendly, personable team, this role will see you take the next step in your career, and give you ongoing opportunities to develop your skills and grow. With a range of services, you will be working in a team environment under highly impressive directors.
Your new role You will be reporting to the company directors and working within a wider team of 10+ staff members. This role will see you get involved in a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and other compliance documents. Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients. Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to help clients make informed business decisions. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and personalised service. Oversee and mentor less experienced team members, including reviewing jobs. Liaise with the ATO and other government bodies. What you'll need to succeed This is a client-facing role, and so the successful person for this opportunity must have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the confidence to work in a client-facing environment. Experience in a similar role is important, though our client will consider different backgrounds. CPA/CA or studying towards this is essential as well as high level competency with business services, accounting, tax, SMSF's, companies, trusts, partnerships and reasonably complex groups. Full working rights are essential, as well as having a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking nature.
What you'll get in return In return for your knowledge and experience, you will be rewarded with an attractive annual salary - circa $100,000 - $120,000 + superannuation (open to discussions dependent on skill set and experience).
