Your new company Hays are working directly with an organisation in Tamworth who are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Your new role Providing support within the finance department ensuring its efficiency in all areas for UK & Ireland. The finance assistant is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in a financial department supporting the wider teams. They are responsible for the fleet administration and general purchase ordering of stock items.

Responsibilities include: Processing purchase invoices accurately Supplier statement reconciliations Reviewing general ledger codes to ensure accuracy Supporting credit control activities & providing information to support cash flow forecasting Overseeing expenses Reviewing of expenses Reviewing and reconciling CIS subcontractors (payments, returns) Assisting with preparing Year-end audit files, ensuring all information and supporting documents are electronically available, in accordance with the agreed timeframe Assisting others in the Finance Team with any other duties as required, including the upkeep of electronic filing Promoting and advocating continuous learning Documenting & maintaining current processes and procedures Any other ad-hoc duties What you'll need to succeed High attention to detail Ability to prioritise a heavy workload Ability to follow company policies Good Excel skills Demonstrate flexibility Ability to build relationships with both internal & external stakeholders Problem-solving skills Motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to support the team in meeting the organisation's objectives What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
