Haycom Acquires Adelaide'S Multivision

Technical event production company Haycom has expanded its Adelaide-based operations with the acquisition of South Australian supplier Multivision. Effective September 1, the move sees Haycom take over all of Multivision's equipment, clients, and permanent team members who will be moving to Haycom's Adelaide warehouse.
Haycom directors Alan Hay, Mario Valenti and Stuart Gregg have led the acquisition negotiations and say the 30-year relationship between the two companies helped secure the merger, along with a shared passion for producing high quality events. "We've already delivered some great shows in Adelaide and have won lots of new local clients in our first year," Valenti says. "However, this acquisition will accelerate our growth and help establish us further in the Adelaide market, providing some very valuable local work."
The deal follows Haycom's entry into the South Australian market a year ago, and its merger with t7 Event Solutions in April 2013. The media announcement concludes: "Haycom's growth strategy suggests further acquisitions may be imminent".
