A professional and loving family in Hawthorn, VIC are seeking a positive and organised nanny to assist with the household and care for their three happy and active children (12 year old girl, 7 and 5 year old boys).
An ideal nanny will be warm, positive, calm, and organised.
A mature nanny with life experience who can work using her own initiative with minimal instruction and identify tasks that will help the household run smoothly.
Able to work with the children's routines, possess excellent organisational skills to manage the busy afternoons, and have experience with supporting children to manage afternoon activities and homework.
Reliability, great communication skills, and professionalism are also valued.
(Strong English skills are required for great communication).
The role will mostly consist of arriving at the home to complete household tasks, run errands, pick the children up from school and take them to activities, engage with the children, have a break, and then work on homework and prepare the evening meal.
The family is seeking a nanny who has a strong desire to engage with the children and build a relationship with each of them.
Someone who will assist in creating structure and a positive environment within the home.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To supervise the childrenFollow the children's routinesPick up from schoolEngage with the childrenLight household duties – i.e.
household laundry, keeping the home stocked with necessary groceries/supplies, helping the family to maintain a tidy and organised home.Meal planning and cooking for the familyTransport to after school activities i.e.
swimming, soccer, danceAssist with homeworkContract length: Permanent / Long term 12 – 24 months +
Pay: From 85K p.a.
plus super and leave entitlements – negotiable for the right candidate
Note: Full driver's licence required (to drive family vehicle)
The days and normal hours are: 5 days – 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday
