We're building a talent pool of Hatchery Assistants for ongoing roles with our client.
About the Role As a Hatchery Assistant, you will perform a range of tasks including coolroom duties, egg transfers, sorting hatched chicks, and cleaning.
You will be responsible for maintaining quality control by inspecting eggs and chicks to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Additionally, you will uphold cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment to comply with animal handling and safety regulations.
You will thrive in our dynamic hatchery environment, where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success.

Consistent Roster: 4-day working week Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri regular shifts What We Seek Working Rights: Must have valid working rights in Australia.
Location: Ideally suited to candidates living in or around the Gawler area Availability: Full-time availability for afternoon and night shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Transportation: Must own a vehicle and have a current driver's license.
Physical Fitness: Excellent physical fitness to handle repetitive, physical tasks.
Comfort with Raw Poultry: Comfortable working with raw poultry products.
Refrigerated Environment: Ability to work effectively in a refrigerated environment.
Factory Experience: Previous experience in a factory setting is highly regarded.
Safety Focus: Strong emphasis on safety with good knowledge of safe work practices.
Positive Attitude: Positive, energetic, and hardworking attitude.
