Responsibilities:
You understand and drive company-wide strategies and OKR's.
Conduct market research to stay up to date with the latest trends and products in the e-commerce industry and make recommendations on product and/or brand selection for THE ICONIC.
Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels.
Evaluate vendor performance and assist in the selection and deactivation and/or exit process.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts for both commission-based (Platform) and OTB-based (Wholesale) vendors.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate records of vendor details including brand plans, SKU lists, department brand profile matrix, and tiering profile.
Identify opportunities for improvements in the customer onsite experience.
Analyze data, interpret trends, and propose informed decisions based on data.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to achieve mutual goals and foster long-term partnerships.
Liaise with internal teams for vendor onboarding and maintain ongoing support.
Work collaboratively with agreed key brands on building assortment.
Manage inefficient and unproductive brands to propose informed strategies.
Pay attention to detail, particularly with contract terms and conditions, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
Collaborate with marketing to identify both GTM and promotional opportunities for your category to drive sales.
About you... Previous experience as a Buyer in a high-volume business.
Skilled in Excel reporting (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
Strong communication skills with a great eye for detail.
A strong team player who embodies our ICONIC Principles.
A passion for women's fashion and accessories.
Skills you'll need Accurately identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in information and deliverables.
Results-oriented with a focus on outcomes and the steps to achieve them.
Collaborate effectively by being open, clear in communication, and listening to achieve goals.
