Harvey Norman Commercial, located in Port Melbourne, is seeking a highly motivated Data Administrator to join our growing and successful commercial business on a Full-time basis across a 38-hour week.
Your new role
As the Data Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining organisational data, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making while supporting the general maintenance of company databases.
Reporting to our Senior Systems Operations Manager, you will also: Design and maintain data structures within multiple database systems Assist with the design, documentation, and implementation of database usability processes and procedures Develop dashboards by creating regular and ad-hoc reports from different data sources to support decision-making Identify, analyse, validate, and document business benefits associated with data-driven initiatives Establish and maintain database security protocols Perform maintenance of backup and recovery systems To be successful you will have: A tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent 5 years' experience in a similar role Proven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures, and instructions relating to system usability. Proven experience maintaining databases, including but not limited to designing naming conventions and data sets.
